2019-2020 Camping Schedule

Posted on Oct 1 2019 - 3:30pm

Attached is the camping calendar for the year as it exists today.  Coordinators should be working on their assigned events ASAP... please do not wait as camping sites book up (as we've seen for the October trip).  These events are more or less fixed based mostly on the voting the scouts did last spring so there should be good attendance for all.

Camping Trip to Babcock Hovey ... Hiking and Rifle Shooting

Posted on May 25 2019 - 6:18pm

June 7-9, 2019 will be a camping trip to Babcock Hovey Scout Camp on Seneca Lake.  They have great facilities and run an excellent summer camp program.  We'll be staying at the Seneca Leanto site which is right on one of the hiking trails.  We'll also be making use of the rifle range ... .22LR for those 12 and older and pellet guns for those under 12.  This is the last trip before Massawepie so I hope you all can make it (parents too).

A Chance to Win a Play Station 4! (or an iPod Touch!)

Posted on Nov 4 2013 - 8:59am

Bring-A-Buddy…earn a chance…

Bring-a-Buddy and win a Play Station 4! Every Boy Deserves Scouting!

This is a Bay Waters exclusive! Only Bay Waters Scouts qualify for this prize!

In addition to earning a great patch for inviting a friend to join Scouting, ANY CUB SCOUT, BOY SCOUT, SEA SCOUT OR VENTURER will have a CHANCE to win a Play Station 4 or an iPod Touch!**

Every current Scout who invites a friend and gets them to sign up for Scouts will be put into a drawing that will take place at the District Roundtable on January 9th, 2014. “Bring-A-Buddy” forms are available from your unit leader or on the District page and must be used to qualify for the Play Station 4! To qualify, the unit leader must fill out the form, ATTACH IT TO THE NEW SCOUT’S YOUTH APPLICATION, and turn in the new scout’s application (with the registration fee) NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 31st, 2013. The form will then be put into the drawing which will take place on January 9th, 2014. Get two friends to join, win two chances…get three friends to join win three chances! The winner DOES NOT have to be present to win.

**VERY IMPORTANT…If the District REACHES ITS MEMBERSHIP GOAL for 2013, (1850 Scouts) the drawing will be for a Play Station 4, if the District DOES NOT reach its 2013 goal, there WILL be a drawing for an iPod Touch (still a GREAT prize)! Currently, there are 1729 registered Scouts in bay Waters…

are there 100 Scouts willing to accept this challenge?

Bring a Buddy…win a Play Station 4! (or an iPod Touch!)

Parents…YOU can help! Do you know families with boys who aren’t a part of our program?
Of course you do!
Talk to them…share your experiences…and invite them along to join the fun!

EVERY BOY DESERVES SCOUTING!
