Mickey Mouse Boot Sizing Night

Posted on Jan 8 2012 - 9:41pm
Mickey Mouse Boots (Illustration: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:MickeyMouseBoots.jpg) are some of the warmest boots for winter camping available.   As has become a more-or-less annual custom, we'll have a sizing night for them at this week's meeting at the rec center.

If you want to help out, bring any Mickey Mouse Boots you already have (of any sizes) for folks to try on so they can see what size they should order.  If you have any extra Mickey Mouse Boots you'd like to sell, bring those, too.

What to bring:

1. Bring your Mickey Mouse Boots so others can determine their size.
2. If you want to order and/or buy Mickey Mouse Boots, or just want to know your size, then bring your feet.

Once we have orders together for everyone that wants to buy some, we can combine shipping costs-- a scout is thrifty.  Our hope is to place the order and receive the boots in time for the Klondike.

Thanks,

Mr Beadle

2012 National Jamboree ShakeDown

Posted on Dec 1 2011 - 9:47pm

This is an exciting opportunity for you to be among the first to camp at the Summit Bechtel Reserve, in West Virginia, and to play an important role in the final planning process for the 2013 National Scout Jamboree.  You'll live in and help test Jamboree campsites, facilities, and program elements.  The particular program elements to be included will primarily be those that are new to the Summit and are not intended to represent all of the program elements to be offered in 2013.  Program elements (subject to change) include rappelling, canopy tour, zip lines, BMX, skateboarding, mountain biking, shooting sports, white water rafting and technical rock climbing.

Only a limited number of scouts will be select to be a part of the Seneca Waterway Council's Troop.  Please see the attached flyer for more information.
